In the spring of 2023, Wolf Creek Race Management reached out to our team at Homer Cinema to produce a documentary about their 100 mile ultramarathon. The goal was to tell a story that would both put their race on the map, and drive participation. Over the fall of 2023, and the spring of 2024, we coordinated the film, shot on location in Pennsylvania and Oregon, and produced this film, along with marketing material and a launch strategy. The film was launched on a channel of under 100 subscribers, and gathered over 50,000 views in the first two month without a single paid ad.
